A Thought For The Day “Wounded Warrior”

We as the American people have so much to be thankful for, but trouble is brewing. The sacrifices our men and women have made for our freedom is inconceivably costly. They give an oath to our country and its people, but our politicians will not allow them to pray, openly. FREEDOM of religion. I THINK that is in the constitution, but it is not honored by those in leadership. My question is…What are they fighting for, if their own beliefs are being taken away? I’m not a political person, but a true American, who wants to honor those who fight for our freedom abroad. As for here………in America…..WE, as the people, need to fight to take ALL of our rights back.

We, my husband and I, have 3 children and 5 grandchildren (which are still young), and it worries me what kind of freedom will they have. Even more disturbing, is the men and women who are permanently injured from fighting for our country, will not be able to enjoy the rights they fought for.

My husband and I discussed what would we do if both of us were killed at the same time and where would our money go. Our children are taken care of, our grandchildren lack for nothing. So we came to conclusion that the ones who protect us from foreign threats, can’t protect us from domestic, if the leaders are the ones who threaten us. Maybe that is where our money, after we are gone, should go.

We all have seen the program of “Wounded Warrior” and the organization who is attempting to help take care of their needs. I am concerned that our country is already taking many benefits away from the people who need them, so will they take the responsibility of aiding our Soldiers? They didn’t after Viet Nam!

So, I ask all that read this, please check out the “Wounded Warrior” program and see if you may be able to help. We are the police of the world, so to speak, but we need to see to our own first.

Thank you for all the Soldiers then, now and in the future for what we have. We honor you and we WILL help see to your needs in time of trial.

God Bless America….That means ALL of you. With Love, Barb
