Mrs. Rowe’s first of several books “Paths On A Rainbow” (soon to be re-released with the title “Turbulent Sea of Emotions”) is a collection of writings in poetic verse about the many challenges in life we all face and the spiritual struggle and growth we experience.
It has kept her readers spellbound and emotionally charged. This book has been used in church sermons as an example of ones faith in God to endure all perils.
Barbara’s perception and ability to capture human emotions in written form is unprecedented. This book has received great response from people in many walks of life.
Her second book, “Lady, you’re from the City! Right?” is expected to be in print this year, (2013). Unlike the first book, it is true short stories, full of the humorous antics of a city girl adapting to life in the country. The following is a quote from a beta reader, “For all ages, a book to lighten your day and fill it with laughter.”
Mrs. Rowe also has the first in a Series of Children’s books coming out in 2013 as well. “Muffin and the Junior Guardian Angel Posse, Book# 1, The Angel That Couldn’t” It’s the first book in a series about an little angel who gathers other little angels who are sent to earth to help children with problems like bullying, self-esteem and other problems children face in today‘s society. It promises to be a wonderful, helpful and an awesome series for children of all ages regardless of color, faith or background.
The following are Amazon Reviews of Mrs. Rowe’s poetry book
By Leanna Harrow Format: Paperback: this book evoked both smiles and tears as I took the journey down this author’s path. I could walk parallel to her in many of her poems as I too have had similar journeys; I hazard a guess that we all have.
She expresses herself in a way that makes you feel like you are reading your own thoughts. I can hardly wait to see what she comes up with next. An absolute treasure!
By Kath Unsworth Format: Paperback: “Paths On A Rainbow” is a beautiful book. Not only is Barbara. C. Rowe an artist and a children’s book Author, she is also a Poet, who has an amazing talent to paint a vivid picture with her unique style and choice of words. This book of poems is something to behold and would make a wonderful thoughtful gift.
Barbara keeps herself busy with writing, painting, making her specialized “One Of A Kind” jewelry collection and baking. She is an accomplished artist, has a book of poetry published, three Children’s books and one humorous short stories book to be released later this year. She will be penning an adult romance novel as she has always been a fan and is well versed as she is living proof of a true love story. She loves her fans, looks forward to getting to know them and appreciates any input, good or bad, they may give her have pertaining to her work.
